I remember when I first watched this video (back in 2004), I was so skeptical. It was just because I had never heard a great Malaysian singer before. Besides, before watching this video, I watched several videos of Malaysian Idol 2004 and I wasn’t impressed at all. All of the finalists (except Jac of course) are so… so. LoL. I mean, let’s face it, Indonesia simply has so many better singers (our country produces lots of world class singing talents). Living in Indonesia, it’s just so easy to spot a fantastic singing talent anywhere.

So then.. I watched it.. and from the beginning till the end I’m like.. WOWED that much. I had all the shiver. And it was one of the rare occasions that you can feel so much excitement watching a live performance on TV. It’s definitely one of the best TV performances ever, on a par with world’s first class divas’ performances. So then I started to watch all Jac’s videos and even impressed more! She’s one of my favorite singers until now. So here is Jaclyn Victor, the 1st Malaysian Idol, singing her song in the finale that night and she’s just sooooooooo great!! You should watch it. Really. Now. :)
